A geographer at heart, Rob James enjoys using a wide variety of GIS software to analyze, understand, and visualize solutions to challenging planning problems. His broad understanding of data management, spatial datasets, appropriate methodologies, and industry mapping standards helps integrate the varied disciplines of GIS with many of HHF’s planning projects. He has extensive experience overseeing land use, military, and facilities planning projects throughout the Hawaiian Islands and Pacific region, including Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands, Japan, and the Indian Ocean. He also manages the company’s GIS program and information technology resources.
