Dayna Vierra

Years Experience: 11

Dayna has a background in design, building information modeling (BIM), database management, and software integration. Prior to joining HHF, Dayna worked for The University of Hawai‘i as a campus space planner for the Office of Planning and Facilities at the Mānoa campus. Dayna used her background knowledge to conduct analyses relating to facility planning in general, and more specifically facility space management and allocation. These analyses helped to provide data-driven recommendations to the University’s administration. She also created, managed, and maintained floorplans for over 300 of the campus’ buildings.

She received her Master of Urban and Regional Planning degree at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, with a specialization in environmental planning. She started her undergraduate degree in architecture and completed three years of the program prior to switching to a IS degree in Urban Design.

When she’s not at work, Dayna enjoys reading, gardening, collecting fake pigs and real cats.
