At the Historic Hawai‘i Foundation’s 40th Annual Preservation Honor Awards on Friday night, HHF was recognized for multiple projects:
- Preservation Commendation Award, Hickam Building 1102
- Cultural Landscape Report
- Tree Protection Plan
- Preservation Commendation Award, Fort Kamehameha Historic District
- Preservation Award, IBM Building Rehabilitation
- Native Hawaiian Garden
When re-capping the night for all of us, Wendie said, “The event was wonderful! I was inspired by the diversity and quality of historic preservation efforts throughout Hawai‘i, and it was especially meaningful to see Glenn Mason receive well-deserved recognition as this year’s Frank Haines honoree.”
Congratulations to Wendie McAllaster, Rick Quinn, Robyn Sweesy, Tina Bushnell, Ryan Masuda; and a special thank you to David Franzen, for his wonderful photography work on Fort Kamehameha!
