Kapolei Villages II And III

The Villages at Kapolei began with an overall master plan prepared by Helber Hastert for the State Housing Finance and Development Corporation. The development concept for this large scale residential community was to provide a significant number of high quality homes within affordable price levels in a master planned community atmosphere.

Villages II and III are located on over 100 acres of the entire 830-acre site. Each of the villages is designed with distinct development theme which integrates the planning concept with the landscaping and residential architecture.

In both villages, Helber Hastert planners created a series of “special places” by featuring mini-parks (with a day-care center in Village II) and vistas of the golf course. These vistas were achieved by providing open view corridors at the ends of major entry roads and cul-de-sacs so that those residents who do not have golf course frontage homes will still be able to view the golf course on a daily basis.
