Maui Community College Long Range Development Plan

The Long Range Development Plan (LRDP) for the Maui Community College (MCC) Kahului Campus was prepared by Helber Hastert & Fee, working closely with the MCC administration. The purpose of the LRDP is to guide future development on the campus. It integrates the programmatic and institutional goals of the college with detailed space requirements, based on a target population of 5,000 full-time equivalent students.

Aspects of the LRDP include:

  • Functional relationships and space allocations for MCC’s diverse programs;
  • A physical site plan to best accommodate MCC’s long-term goals and growth;
  • Civil, landscape, utility, and information technology components to facilitate implementation of the LRDP;
  • Architectural and landscape design guidelines to ensure cohesive campus development.
