Helber Hastert & Fee, Planners (HHF) was selected by the Department of Planning and Permitting (DPP) to prepare a master plan for the Kahaluu community on the windward side of the Island of Oahu.
The work plan includes six meetings with an Advisory Working Group (AWG), 4 larger community-wide meetings, and several presentations to the Kahaluu Neighborhood Board.
In addition, in an effort to distribute information as widely as possible within the Kahaluu community, a website was created and hosted by DPP that posts all work products and public meeting notices.
The purpose of the community master plan is to provide a general design guidance and to prioritize future physical improvement projects that address the community’s concerns related to physical, social, or urban design and transportation issues.
