Yokosuka Naval Complex Regional Shore Infrastructure Overview Plan

Client: Pacific Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii

In conjunction with the Yokosuka Naval Complex Regional Shore Infrastructure Overview Plan, Helber Hastert & Fee prepared a Spatial Data Standard for Facilities Infrastructure and Environmental (SDSFIE)-compliant GIS that dynamically linked to a series of thematic maps. The project data included future projects, facility use, land use, and planning constraints, along with supporting thematic base information. The project data was designed to work with the client’s existing facility management databases while at the same time providing more efficient tools to produce current facility maps. The dynamic relationship between the database and the maps allows the client to print up-to-date maps after performing routine database maintenance.
