Robyn Sweesy, ASLA, LEED AP

Associate/Landscape Designer

Robyn SweesyRobyn Sweesy joined Helber Hastert & Fee in 2004, becoming an associate in 2006. Ms. Sweesy has a comprehensive background in landscape design, urban design, site planning, and project management. Ms. Sweesy’s special area of interest is sustainable design and development, which is supported by her working knowledge of the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED® Green Building Rating System™ and BIA-Hawaii’s Hawaii BuiltGreen Self-Certification Checklist.

Ms. Sweesy has a Master of Landscape Architecture degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. The excellent writing and graphics skills she contributes to HHF evolved while completing Bachelor’s degrees in English and Graphic Communications at Arizona State University.

For over eighteen years, Ms. Sweesy has been involved with resort, commercial, housing, and open space projects around the world, including China, Bali, Malaysia, Guam, and Massachusetts. For ten years, she was a designer and project manager for Honolulu’s Tongg Clarke & McCelvey and Tongg Clarke & Mechler, Landscape Architecture and Planning. While in Massachusetts, she interned with the Boston Redevelopment Authority and the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Management.

Ms. Sweesy is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and is an avid community gardener. She was born and raised in Hawaii.
