Corlyn Olson Orr originally joined Helber Hastert & Fee in 2000 and was employed with the firm until 2002, when she began work as a planner for the City and County of Honolulu, Department of Planning and Permitting. Since being reunited with her HHF family in 2004, Ms. Olson Orr has focused on land use, environmental, and community planning projects in Hawaii and is knowledgeable about permitting and environmental review regulations and processes at all levels of government.
Recent HHF work includes coordinating and preparing environmental review documents, land use entitlement permit applications, and community plans for both public- and private-sector clients, including federal- and state-level environmental assessments; the Commander, Navy Region Hawaii Regional Shore Infrastructure Plan; the Kapolei West Master Plan and Environmental Impact Statement; the City and County of Honolulu Kahaluu Community Master Plan; and the Heeia Fishpond Aquaculture Support Facilities Environmental Assessment and Land Use Entitlements Project.
Ms. Olson Orr was born and raised in Honolulu, and graduated from Iolani High School. She received a Bachelors of Arts degree in Liberal Studies (Environmental Politics) and a Master of Arts degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
